Support Plans

Bigfoot is committed to providing world-class support and maintenance for our products. Bigfoot’s product support team is staffed with experienced personnel that are ready to assist clients with any product question.

Our on-demand solutions include Standard Support & Maintenance as part of the subscription fee.  This that you get world-class technical support, all major version releases, all minor updates & features updates, and all security updates & patches in real-time as they are released.

New Client-Site licenses of Bigfoot supported products are supplied with a 3 month Standard Support & Maintenance Agreement (SMA). This means that during the period of validity, you get the same world-class technical support, all major version releases, all minor updates & features updates, and all security updates & patches as they are released.

Clients can also upgrade to our Select or Premium Service levels and receive the advanced services that larger, more complex deployments demand (see below).

Standard Support Select Support  Premium Support
The Standard Support package is designed to meet our clients most common support needs in a timely fashion. Standard Support includes all major version releases, minor updates as well as three channels of communication between clients and Bigfoot's Client Support. Designed for companies with a maximum of 50 users it is our most popular client support offering. Select Support includes a rich set of services and support outside local business hours. It combines Support, Maintenance, Training and Administration. To provide maximum value, a collaborative partnership, and personalized services, we have created Premium Support. It is our most comprehensive support package, with all of the advanced services that larger, more complex deployments demand.

When the SMA expires, clients can continue to use the currently installed software, but will not continue to receive technical support or be able to upgrade to the next version that we release until a new 12, 24 or 36 month SMA has been purchased. Clients don’t have to buy an SMA concurrently, but if we make a major release during the period when the product license does not have a valid SMA, the client will need to buy an upgrade to the new version at a higher charge.

Having a valid SMA for your product, means that you can take advantage of knowledgeable support staff and all new features and improvements to your software as soon as they become available. An SMA provides better value for money than buying upgrades to new versions and because you know when your SMA expires, you can plan your budget or submit funding applications with confidence.
